Keoki Kerr

Keoki Kerr has been City Government Reporter for KITV4 News since 1991. He has held a variety of assignments since arriving at KITV as an intern in 1986, including general assignment reporter, fill-in anchor, producer, weekend assignment editor and associate producer.
In recent years, Keoki won several awards from The Society of Professional Journalists and Common Cause Hawaii for his reporting on government ethics.
Keoki started his broadcasting career when he was 16 years old, and worked as a radio reporter and news anchor while still in high school. He went on to be a reporter, anchor, news director and general manager at radio stations in Hawaii, Massachusetts and New York. He was also a congressional press aide in Washington D.C., and worked as an editorial assistant at National Public Radio.
Keoki is also a freelance correspondent for ABC Radio News and National Public Radio, and he has written for several publications, including Honolulu Magazine and The Honolulu Weekly.
Born and raised in Hawaii, he is a Punahou School graduate. In 1990, he received an undergraduate degree in government from Hamilton College in New York.
