Mary has been covering news in Hawaii for 20 years.

She started reporting for KSSK radio shortly after she graduated from Kailua High School. She soon after moved to KITV where she anchored the morning news cut-ins during Good Morning America. Mary subsequently covered many different beats as a reporter including police, courts and health.

Mary majored in political science at the University of Hawaii.

She has three children. When Mary is not working, she likes to take her boys to the beach to fish and catch crabs.
